Delivery Methods

Lavender essential oils can be worn directly on the skin but are often put in carrier oils such as sunflower or apricot oil. They may be worn in diffuser necklaces, used in water-based diffusers, or oil burners. (This blog contains affiliate links.)

Recently, a new product, the inscents fountain, is taking the country by storm. This product uses an organic essential oil incense, called inscents, made without fillers or toxins and is completely safe for pets and children.

These unique incents are soaked in potent essential oils for seven days to saturate the product's purest plant-based scents thoroughly. They come in ten scents, including lavender, to relieve stress and anxiety. Once you light the cone and place it in the holder, the smoke flows down the fountain in a fantastic river of beautiful smoke!

Lavender for Sleep

Essential oil of lavender is well known to promote deep, restful sleep. Lavender contains the terpene linalool, which stimulates relaxation in the amygdala deep within the brain. Lavender can be applied to sleep pillows or burned in essential oil incense before bed to induce relaxation.

The smoke in the inscents fountain is so relaxing to watch, I can never be sure if it's the lavender or the smoke that puts me to sleep at night, but it always does the trick! Users of the Inscents Waterfall Fountain have reported falling asleep in 20 minutes or less when using the lavender essential oils inscents cones with their fountain.

Lavender for Anxiety

Lavender essential oil is scientifically proven to relieve anxiety. The oil can safely be applied to the skin and is frequently placed on the temples or wrists. Those with sensitivity to essential oil may prefer a diffuser or inscents fountain to rapidly receive the full health benefits of lavender essential oil.

Lavender for Stress

I can't say enough about using lavender essential oil to beat stress! As a busy professional and a parent, I rely on lavender heavily. When the day stresses me out, I know that I can spend five or ten minutes with my inscents fountain, and my stress will melt away. I used to use regular lavender essential oils diffusers, but the smell didn't spread far. My inscents fountain is fantastic because the smoke stays on the fountain, but the scent fills the space beautifully.

Lavender for Meditation

If you've never tried to meditate or are new to meditation, lavender is your new best friend. Simply light a lavender essential oil incents cone, and sit in a comfortable position.

Watch the smoke roll down the fountain and breathe naturally, focusing on your breath and the smoke. As thoughts arise in your mind, see them drifting away in the smoke. The lavender will gently relax your mind as you exhale your stress.

To use traditional essential oils to meditate, place three drops on your temples and sit in a comfortable position. Take three deep, cleansing breaths.

As thoughts arise, allow them to pass by. Know that thinking is normal. It is what the mind does. When you catch yourself immersed in thought, return to the breath. Spend at least three minutes with your eyes closed, breathing in the smell of lavender.

Lavender for Fussy Babies

Did you know that lavender can calm a fussy baby? It's true! Whether your little one is having trouble falling asleep or is struggling with teething, the lavender essential oil will soothe the crankiest of little ones.
